1. Franklin Art Scene

WHAT: Franklin Art Scene returns on Friday, July 6 and will feature more than 20 sites in Historic Downtown Franklin, including a display of the winners of the City of Franklin photo contest at Visit Franklin Visitors Center. The photo contest launched in celebration of May’s preservation month and invited photography enthusiasts to share their love of Franklin through personal images. The Franklin Art Scene is held on the first Friday of every month to highlight the local arts scene in Franklin.

2. Annie Moses Summer Music Festival

WHAT: The Annie Moses Summer Music Festival is a performing arts intensive for young musicians of all ages. They take a kaleidoscope of instruments and artistic disciples and fuse them together in a series of professional shows. Each student is given a customized role in two performances at premier venues. 3. Stop Drop and Decorate at Sugar Drop
WHAT: Ever wished there was a place you could go play with cake? Well, now there is! Sugar Drop announces a new event, Stop Drop & Decorate! Sugar Drop’s event space will transform to a cake decorating DIY studio. Guests will select a 6” buttercream coated vanilla cake of their choice available in various colors. They will then be able to select two containers of fondant, a piping bag of buttercream, and three toppings. Tools and cutters, as well as hands-on assistance, will be available to provide help and answer questions.
This event is a come and go and open to children ages 4 and older. Students under the age of 12 must have an adult present during the event. Students 12 and older may be dropped off and picked up.
Cost of the class is $35.00 includes all supplies, cake, box and fun. Space is limited each day. Reservations not required but highly suggested.

4. Virtual Vibes at Spring Hill Library

WHAT: Take a break from the heat and take a turn at an interactive music video game in the multipurpose room. Take a turn at playing either Guitar Hero or Just Dance 2018

5. Nashville Circus Spectacular

WHAT: The Nashville Circus Spectacular is coming to Cumberland Park- Nashville on July 7, 2018. This family-friendly event will feature Beyond Wings Circus’ local high flying aerialists and acrobats, fire breathers, fire dancers, jugglers, stilt dancers and more! Highlighting Nashville’s unique talent entertainment, local circus eats, vendors, and breweries will also be on-site serving the best eats in town. A percentage of all the proceeds will benefit a The American Lung Association.
