1. Experience Spring Hill

WHAT: Experience Spring Hill takes place and it’s a must not-miss event. It’s an opportunity for both newcomers to Spring Hill and those who have lived in the area for awhile to get to know their community and local businesses. Experience Spring Hill is a free, family-friendly event. This year’s Experience Spring Hill is themed “Shop. Eat. Play,” offering attendees a great day to check out and purchase from local retailers, learn about local services and eat delicious food from Spring Hill restaurants. Over 80 vendors are scheduled to be at the event.

2. VIP Meet and Greet with Lord of the Rings Actor John Rhy-Davies

WHAT: John Rhys-Davies, known for his role in Lord of the Rings where he played Gimli, will be in Franklin on Sunday for a VIP meet and greet. Enjoy refreshments and buffet, good company, and a live interview between John Rhys-Davies and Annie Moses Band. There will be opportunities for photo ops with John Rhys-Davies. 3. Rodeo & Juliet-Listen to Tennessee Featuring Leigh Nash, Gordon Kennedy and more.

Join them with their guests and their band for this special summer show highlighting the HUGE HIT songs that came from Memphis, Nashville & the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

4. Open House at Boiling Spring Academy

WHAT: City of Brentwood is opening the one-room schoolhouse on Sunday for visitors. Come visit the place where Eric Church shot his video for “Mr. Misunderstood” back in 2015. The schoolhouse dates back to 1833.

5. Franklin Tomato Festival

 

WHAT: Stop by the Franklin Farmers Market for the Annual Tomato Festival. You can enjoy samples from local farmers, games for kids, and find out who has the best tomatoes in the area.
