Williamson County Public Library Launches Discovery Passes Program

Williamson County Public Library is excited to announce a new way for patrons to experience their community: Discovery Passes. With a library card, residents can now check out admission passes to local cultural and historical attractions—absolutely free.

The library’s first partner in this new initiative is the Moore-Morris History & Culture Center in downtown Franklin. Library cardholders can borrow a pass just like a book, enjoy a 7-day checkout, and return it to the library when finished. The passes will be available for checkout on September 2. Additional local partners will be added in the coming months, expanding opportunities for residents to discover history, culture, gardens, and more throughout the county and beyond.

“Your library card has always opened the door to books, movies, and online resources,” said Jessica Jeffers, Library Director. “Now, with Discovery Passes, it also opens doors to our community’s history, culture, and experiences.”

The launch of this program comes just in time for Library Card Sign-Up Month this September—a nationwide celebration highlighting all the valuable services a library card provides

Residents can learn more about the Discovery Passes program by visiting wcpltn.org or stopping by their local branch.
