Today as you enjoy your food and beverages; take a moment to remember those who may not have enough to eat. The Well Outreach Food Pantry in Spring Hill certainly is, by providing emergency food assistance to families in the community.
The Well opens on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s during lunch and dinner and most Saturday’s too. They serve hundreds of families with the help of volunteers who provide customer service, stocking shelves, bread pick-up, community liaisons, bagging food, and prayers. Since 2006 the Well has been helping others and became a 501c3 nonprofit in 2009.
“The Well exists to be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving those in need through supporting spiritual, emotional and physical growth,” says their website under the mission statement. They wish to offer more than food to the needy and currently offer counseling services. Volunteers are always needed so find out more online, if you are so inclined.
