Titans Preview Week 10: Date with the Ravens

The Tennessee Titans (2-6) and their fans are hopeful a week off to regain composure and a clearer head will mean victory. After dropping two straight bad losses, they will begin the second half of their season on the road in Baltimore to take on the Ravens (5-4) on Sunday, November 9th. Kickoff is scheduled for noon CDT at M&T Bank Stadium.

Tennessee’s latest loss came two weekends ago at home against the Houston Texans. They gave rookie Zach Mettenberger the start at quarterback but as they always seem to do this season, the Titans were unable to do anything on both ends of the field, leaving the Texans to run loose and eventually rack up a 30-16 blowout. Mettenberger ended the game going 27-for-41 yards, racking up 299 yards with 2 touchdowns and one interception

The Baltimore Ravens up north are also on a two-game slide, including a 43-23 drilling last week at Pittsburgh. Make no mistake that Baltimore began the year won the first five of seven games and currently ride a three-game winning streak in their building. Led by quarterback Joe Flacco, the Ravens are a very dangerous team if they have the openings to do so. Sunday will be a big test for Tennessee if they can manage to save some scraps of whatever is left of their season currently.

Sunday’s game will be televised regionally on CBS, including Nashville affiliate WTVF NewsChannel 5. On the radio, tune into The Titans Radio Network 104.5 The Zone.
