The Village Church is filling and delivering large food baskets to support 35 families over the holidays. During the Christmas break, kids in these 35 families will lose the extra meal support they normally get at school. So the church and the PTA at Shayne Elementary are working together to make sure that doesn’t happen – they’re providing a Christmas turkey dinner, as well as breakfast and lunch items that will keep kids well-fed over the holiday break.
How You Can Help The Village Church Feed Families
You can help 2 ways:
- TXT 28950 with the word BASKET and a dollar amount, and you can immediately donate to help buy the food items needed, and
- You can be at Shayne Elementary this Saturday between 9a-1p to help pack and deliver the food.
