Target SoulCycle Weekend is Underway in Nashville

SoulCycle Target

We took a visit to the Target Soulcycle pop-up fitness tour in Nashville on Friday. From the moment you step into the door, everyone is there to help you and make sure you get a great workout. And if you’ve never experienced a SoulCycle class, you must go this weekend! Even if you have cycled before, this class is far different than any other class. You sing, dance, shimmy, use weights, and are encouraged the whole way.

Our instructor Ryan took us throw a playlist of about 7-8 songs, including a little Whitney Houston and Taylor Swift. Cycling to candlelight, the room is packed with 45 bikes and each rider is provided with cycle shoes.  As you lock in, you will be taken on a 45 minute cardio journey. Each bike is setup with a water bottle and a towel. If you like to try new workouts,go give it a try. The hardest part of the workout- releasing your shoes from the clips!  There are no more classes available to sign up online, however if you visit the pop-up location, they will add your name to a wait list for a class. And don’t forget to check out all of the new workout gear.   Soulcycle Target

Target is teaming up with SoulCyle for a capsule fitness collection featuring a ten city nationwide tour including Nashville. And if you haven’t heard,SoulCycle  is one of the hottest workouts in fitness with studios booked weeks in advance.  However,at this point we don’t have a SoulCyle studio in Nashville but Target plans to change all of that if only for a weekend.

“We have this incredible desire to bring wellness to everybody, and of course we want people to find it at SoulCycle because we’re so inspired there,” says Elizabeth Cutler, Co-founder of SoulCycle. “But we actually just want people to put on their sneakers and get a beat in their head and just start to move their bodies. We have so many big problems out there; we really want to be a part of the solution. Target’s fashion collaborations are iconic, they’re elevating and they make people feel like the things that are a little out of reach are actually accessible. SoulCycle is all about accessing something inside you that you didn’t know was readily available to you,” told Forbes magazine.

Brace yourself for Nashville’s first ever SoulCycle experience featuring six free rides daily beginning on Friday January 29 – Sunday 31. But in order to take advantage of these rides, you must register to attend. Registration begins on January 22 at the  Target-SoulCycle sign-up website. Even if you choose not to ride, you can still enjoy the pop-up store. The classes will be taught by instructors from SoulCycle studios based all over the country.

The tour kicked off in New York City with an inaugural ride on January 14, with A-listers like Lea Michele and Hilary Duff on those coveted bikes and DJ Irie providing the tunes.
