We had the opportunity to sit down with Von Strantz which is comprised of two sisters- Kelsey and Jess Von Strantz. These two are Chicago transplants who now call Spring Hill home. Not only are these sisters talented vocalists, both are talented at playing a variety of instruments. Von Strantz released EP Narratives Chapter III:Eighteen Eighteen back in 2015. Tell us about yourself, you mentioned you just moved here?
We moved here to Spring Hill almost a month ago from Indianapolis. We are however originally from Chicagoland area.
What brought you to Williamson County?
Our music career, it’s also central to where we tour, but also because of our friends, we have so many amazing beautiful friends here that we love & wanted to be closer to.
Who would you say are your musical influences?
Radiohead, Over The Rhine, The national, My brightest Diamond to name a few!
What projects are you currently working on?
Our full-time project is Von Strantz. But we also have a few side projects, Hushpad, Virbum, Jess Strantz & The Disco Panthers.
What is one thing you want our readers to know about you?
We love good coffee & a good story.
