Spring Hill to Hold Special Meeting to Consider Tax/Fee Hikes for Infrastructure Needs

The Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) will hold a special-called meeting next week to discuss potential increases to the property tax rate and development fees to help fund capital construction projects.

This public meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the City Hall Courtroom, 199 Town Center Parkway, and will include a public comment period. For members of the public unable to attend, the meeting will be live video-streamed at www.springhilltn.org/video, and the on-demand recorded video will be available the following day on this same page to watch any time.

The purpose of the special meeting is to consider how to properly fund the City’s long-term Capital Improvement Program (CIP), which could include increasing one or multiple City revenues, such as the property tax rate or development fees, including roadway impact fees and the adequate facilities tax.
