“Nashville Flipped” Gets a Second Chance

As we first reported back in March, “Nashville Flipped” made its premiere on HGTV.  The pilot will re- air in a few weeks to test the market, giving it a second chance.

Mike Wolf of “American Pickers” helped create the show and works with Nashville house flipper Troy Shafer and designer, Alex Cirimelli (owner of Serenite Maison in Leiper’s Fork). As stated on their Facebook Page, “’Nashville Flipped’ takes pride in respecting, restoring and renovating the historic houses of Nashville to provide unique homes with personality for modern families.”

NBJ reported, “the pilot episode of ‘Nashville Flipped,’ which follows Nashville-based home-flipper Troy Dean Shafer, aired Saturday on HGTV and pulled in a 0.3 in ratings, according to TV by the Numbers. That may seem low (to compare, ABC’s ‘Nashville’ averaged about a 1.47 in ratings last season and was in constant danger of being canceled), but it’s in line with the cable network’s other Saturday airings. According to Shafer, HGTV will re-air the pilot episode in a few weeks to test the show again with a target demographic, before making a decision on ordering a full season of the show.

Friends, if you enjoyed the show "Nashville Flipped", and would like to see more historic renovations, please feel free…
