Put Everything in its Place

The first thing that needs to be done is finding a spot to put all of your pool belongings. Then determine what you want to put it in (i.e toys, goggles, floaties, etc.). Having a four drawer bin would be a great idea to keep everything in one place. Separate all of your belongings into a drawer. For example, have floaties in one bin, goggles in another, pool supplies in a third, and maybe toys in the fourth. This will give you separation and organization so you know exactly where everything is. Lining the drawers with plastic bins will keep the items within the drawers separated as well.

Make a Place for Wet Towels

Another organizational tip to keep your towels from being balled up on the ground is to throw them in a laundry hamper or to lay them out to dry on a rack. This will prevent them from getting smelly and if everyone throws them all in the same place when they are done, it will make your life a lot easier at the end of the day.

Another method is to purchase an all in one storage rack like the one shown below. This will keep rafts, floats, towels, goggles, and even sunscreen organized and all in one area. This contraption has a spot to put everything you could ever need for a day or even night at the pool.

Overall, your pool area doesn’t have to become a mess every time you use it. Spend less time fretting and more time enjoying. Happy summer everyone!
