River Swing 2025 takes place Saturday, September 20th, from 6-11 pm at River Circle Farm (1041 Sneed Rd W, Franklin, TN 37069).
River Swing is Harpeth Conservancy’s premier fall fundraiser—an unforgettable evening of music, dinner, dancing, and celebration dedicated to protecting clean water and healthy rivers across Tennessee. What began in 2003 as the Harpeth River Watershed Association’s “Hootenanny,” led by Orrin Ingram and featuring John Hiatt, has grown into one of Middle Tennessee’s most anticipated conservation events. Now in its 22nd year, the event has raised more than $2 million to support Harpeth Conservancy’s mission statewide.
Held each September at the picturesque River Circle Farm in Franklin, TN, River Swing invites guests to enjoy a catered dinner, lively musical performances, signature cocktails, and a vibrant auction—all in a relaxed, boots-optional atmosphere. From celebrated artists like The Revivalists and Moon Taxi to Southern fare from local favorites like Martin’s BBQ, River Swing delivers an evening where community spirit meets conservation impact.
Proceeds from River Swing—including sponsorships, ticket sales, auction revenue, and day-of donations—directly support our science-based work to protect Tennessee’s rivers and water quality. The event also offers sponsors and partners the opportunity to connect with an engaged audience of supporters, amplified by strong media coverage and a growing digital reach.
