Luke and Caroline Bryan Remember Niece with “Brett’s Barn”

Luke and Caroline Bryan

Luke Bryan’s wife Caroline, shared her latest project at the Bryan farm. Posting a picture of a white barn in honor of their niece Sadie Brett, who died in February 2017 before her first birthday. Brett had been battling an infection and suffered from heart issues. She was the daughter of Caroline’s brother Bo and wife Ellen Boyer.

Dear Brett….when your sweet Mama told me of the challenges you might face in life, I was floored when her first words were “I can’t handle the thought of someone making fun of her.” She never said, “Why me? Why us?” Nothing. Her words were all about you. Protecting you. Loving you with a love that only a Mother knows. Sweet Angel, you changed so many stubborn hearts that most thought were unbreakable. The first time we saw your smile was beyond amazing. You instantly became one of the greatest blessings to the the entire Boyer/Wells/Bryan family. So….to get to my point of the picture….when you were about a month old, I promised you a white pony! I found you one…..along with some other adorable mini animals! Your mom and I hijacked one of your Uncle Luke’s barns and started having a little fun with it (thank you sweetie @lukebryan)! We still have a lot of work to do, but it’s coming together! “Brett’s Barn” is officially in the works. This is all for you Queen Bee. We love you to the moon and back. 👑🐝 #brightforbrett #brettsbarn

In the post above, Caroline shares she promised Sadie a pony and she kept her promise. Other animals have also been added to the barn. Goober Goldsby the goat, Bumble Bryan, who has been nicknamed “Bossy”  and Jimmy Dean the pig.

Brett’s Barn had a visitor this week named Luke, yes Luke. Check out this cute photo of Goober and Luke below. We hope they will continue to introduce us to the new members of Brett’s Barn and its visitors.

Bumble Bryan everybody!! Bumble…aka…”Bossy”…is another mini in Brett’s Barn. She’s fearless! Much to the dismay of the other animals, Bumble takes what she wants when she wants it….still working on taming that! My only guess for her aggressive behavior is a result from living in horrible conditions. Bumble was days away from dying, due to starvation. Thanks to @redemption_road_rescue , Bumble was rescued and nursed back to proper health. The pictures of Bumble (previously known as China) are extremely disturbing. I can’t believe my sweet mini once looked like the last picture. Thank you @redemption_road_rescue for your amazing work. Bumble will never know hunger/abuse again! She’s a fighter and very much loved! #brettsbarn #brightforbrett
