Earlier this month, Kiwanis of Historic Franklin presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to Graceworks. A portion of the proceeds came from the organization’s sale of popsicles at the annual Franklin on the Fourth event.
Recently, Graceworks put out a plea for food donations to assist in the summer slump citing they served 31 families in one day supplying them with a month’s worth of food. Graceworks is a 501c3 organization based in Franklin, GraceWorks’ mission is “Neighbor serving Neighbor – by the power of God’s grace.” The charity offers immediate assistance to community members who need help paying rent and utility bills and also provides a community food pantry. The organization is located at 104 Southeast Parkway, with a satellite GraceWorks West in Fairview, and online at graceworksministries.net.
