Each year, the 7th and 8th grade band students audition for the MTSBOA All Mid-State Band, which includes schools from the Kentucky border to the Alabama border. There were who 13 students attend auditions this past Saturday, which included prepared pieces, scales, and sight-reading! There were nearly 1,700 students from the region who attended auditions and the competition is very, very intense. Hillsboro Middle is proud to announce that they had a record number of students who were selected for this prestigious honor! The students below will attend the All Mid-State Band weekend at MTSU in January. Congratulations to the following students. They have worked very hard!
