Since 1831, the Hatcher Family has been doing what they know best—dairy farming! Show your children how milk they use in their cereal each morning gets from the farm to your kitchen by visiting Hatcher Family Dairy.
The Hatcher’s are passionate about their farm, eating and selling local products and educating children (and adults) on the benefits of local foods. Hatcher Family Dairy is open for tours, an experience you and your children won’t want to miss! During the tour, guests will learn and see how a diary farm works, visit the barns where the Hatcher cows are milked, the fields where livestock graze and the plant where it’s put together and bottled for selling. Hatcher Family Dairy provides an educational and fun experience for children of all ages.
For a more in depth tour of the farm, the Hatcher Family offers a Cardiovascular Tour, ideal for children 13 years of age or older. This hike will allow visitors to see an everlasting spring, livestock and much more over a two-mile hike.
Tours are held Thursdays at 9a and 1p and every third Saturday at 9:30a for $6. The Cardiovascular Tour is $10. Admittance is free for infants 12 months and under.
