Franklin Transit Authority is continuing to provide new and relevant services to its riders with a new mobile app so riders never need to miss their bus again. Now passengers can easily Follow Frank, their local Franklin Transit bus, on their mobile phone from the free mobile app.
Riders can immediately begin to use the new app which allows users to track their bus in real time, access route and schedule information and receive important alerts such as weather information that might affect bus service.
“Follow Frank” the new app was announced at the Williamson Inc. Transportation Summit. “This innovative technology will help transform public transportation in Franklin, Tennessee, making it much more convenient and accessible to seamlessly ride our Fixed Route transit service,” says Dale Thomas, Franklin Transit Authority Chairman. “Riders can now determine the best time and route option in the Follow Frank transportation app to maximize their public transit experience.”
Debbie Henry, Franklin Transit Authority Executive Director states, “This past year has been an exciting one for the Franklin Transit Authority.
