The City of Franklin will hold its Annual Veterans Day Parade in Downtown Franklin on Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 11:00 a.m to remember and honor the veterans who have served in the United States military.

The parade is a joint effort of the city and local radio station WAKM AM-950.

Every year, the parade route starts on West Main Street and Fifth Avenue, moves to Five Points and will end on Second Avenue. Williamson County high schools’ Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) units and marching bands will participate. The Franklin Special School District will also send a large group of students to show their gratitude to veterans.

Prior to the parade, a reception will be held at the Williamson County Archives from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. for local veterans and their families.
