We Found Your New Summer Drink

SpikedSeltzer

It’s a new product that is flying off the shelves. Since we are all about sharing a new find, we wanted to tell about the newest summer drink – SpikedSeltzer.

What makes this drink more appealing than its market companions of hard cider or hard root beer?

SpikedSeltzer is 6% alcohol and naturally gluten-free, with only 5 grams of carbohydrates per 12 oz. serving. The alcohol comes from a cold-fermentation of sugar combined with purified water and cold-pressed fruits. Champagne-like bubbles gives SpikedSeltzer a crisp, dry finish.

Adult-seltzer has been dubbed the next stage of the boozy-soda craze, into which SpikedSeltzer was the first entrant. Inaugural flavor West Indies Lime launched in 2013; Indian River Grapefruit, Valencia Orange, and Cape Cod Cranberry rounded out the lineup soon after.

SpikedSeltzer is made exclusively from purified water and natural ingredients. The fresh fruit flavors infused in SpikedSeltzer are derived from cold-pressed citrus essence from a variety of fruits. Consumers have chosen to drink the seltzer as is or if you are looking for a great recipe, try one of the recipes that SpikedSeltzer has created on their website.

While SpikedSeltzer has not made it to all markets, you can purchase it at select stores in Williamson County. And when trying to find it on the shelves, some of the area stores have told us it has been hard to keep it on the shelves.
