Election Commission to Host Voter Registration Drives at Local Schools

Chad Gray, Administrator of Elections, is pleased to announce that the Williamson County Election Commission will be conducting voter registration drives at all Williamson County public and most private high schools over the next few weeks in conjunction with Constitution Week and National Voter Registration Month.

“We want to encourage the young citizens of our county to take the initiative to register to vote so they may participate in the electoral process and have their voices heard at the ballot box in the next election” says Gray.

The National Association of Secretaries of State has declared the entire month of September as National Voter Registration Month and Tuesday, September 25th as National Voter Registration Day.

An individual must be registered in their county of residence no later than thirty (30) days before Election Day in order to vote. To complete a voter registration application online, visit the following webpage https://ovr.govote.tn.gov/
