Dr. Sarah Talley, O.D. of Franklin has joined the staff of Ducklo EyeCare in Nashville.

Talley, a native of Franklin, graduated from Father Ryan in 2002 and went on to receive her Bachelors in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 2006.

After working several years as an optician she earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. She was inducted into the International Optometric Honor Society and received honors in Adult Primary Care and Cornea & Contact Lens. She is National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO) Injections Certified, NBEO Therapeutics Certified, and NBEO Certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease, and a member of the American Optometric Association, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and the Middle Tennessee Optometric Physicians Society.

“Sarah is a talented young optometrist,” said Dr. Tommy Ducklo, optometrist and owner of Ducklo EyeCare P.C.. “We are very pleased to welcome her to our team as our practice continues to grow.” Talley is an active member of the Middle Tennessee Hunter/Jumper Association and rides competitively on the horse show circuit. When not providing eye care, she helps at her parent’s equestrian boarding facility, Chataway Farm, in historic Leiper’s Fork.
