Deacon’s New South will introduce its first wine and food tasting event called “Uncorked” on Tuesday, March 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. featuring four varietals from Oregon-based Patricia Green Cellars with savory food pairings.
A. Marshall Hospitality sommelier and Deacon’s General Manager, Jenn McCarthy, along with a representative from Patricia Green Cellars will walk participants through the wine selection process while guests enjoy delectables curated by Deacon’s Executive Chef, Chad Starling.
From pimento and ham gougère to seared scallops with parsnip purée, each course will be matched with a Patricia Green wine to complement its ingredients and showcase the flavors of the season. Featured varietals will include the winemaker’s Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Reserve Pinot Noir and Pinot Single Vineyard.
Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased through Eventbrite. Guests are encouraged to buy tickets in advance, as seating is limited.
