As part of the popular development trend of mixed-use developments, the CityPark mixed-use development in Brentwood is set to begin construction in mid-August or early September.

CityPark is located at the intersection of Franklin Rd. and Executive Center Dr., with close access to Old Hickory Blvd. and I-65. 

Boyle Investement Company is constructing a 33 acre mixed-use development with 500,000 square feet of office space, 40,ooo square feet of restaurant/retail space, open green space and a full service hotel. The development is meant to be pedestrian friendly with crosswalks and wide sidewalks in the central area. Parking access will be parallel spots along Executive Center Dr. and most of the existing buildings will retain their original parking options.

We have a shared parking system at Meridian Cool Springs, a mixed-use office park that we developed and own in Cool Springs, and have found it to be very effective and convenient for all parties involved,” said Shelby Larkin of the Boyle Investment Company. “From a design and walkability perspective, we also prefer for the parking to be behind all of the buildings so that the main streets are open for pedestrian activity and the storefronts are the first thing you see, as opposed to a parking lot.”

There will be a range of retailers, from the Boardroom men’s exclusive salon to artisan coffee brewers Just Love Coffee. Most retailers will have traditional hours of 9 a.m. – 7 p.m., but some will be for late night dining as well.

This mixed use development is similar to a lot of these closed in spaces geared towards having all people need in one place to cut down on driving, etc. Boyle has been developing properties like this since the 1960s.
