You have a tour in December, how important was it to stop in Franklin?

I absolutely LOVE doing shows at home! Also, Franklin is one of the most magical places to me….especially at Christmas. I’m so excited!

2

Out of all of the venues you play across the country, how does the Franklin Theatre compare?

The Franklin Theatre has been one of my favorite places to catch live music for quite some time now, so I am honored every time I get to step into that gorgeous venue and make my own music. I love the intimate, classy feel of the theatre. I have played a lot of venues, but The Franklin Theatre has a unique soul of it’s own. I love playing there!

Some many of your songs are about love, why do you like to sing about love?

I’m a romantic at heart. I can’t help it. LOL! I think love is what drives us all. It’s something everyone can relate to. I’m really excited to incorporate my love of love songs into my Christmas show! Love and Christmas are a win-win.

Can you tell us one of your Christmas traditions?

Christmas is BY FAR my favorite holiday! My mommy and I have a tradition of buying a cupcake and a candle and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus. It’s definitely my favorite Christmas tradition.
