2nd Annual Puppy Love Dog Fest

The 2nd annual Puppy Love Dog Fest will be held February 8, 2015 from 12-6pm at Independence High School in Thompson’s Station.

The Puppy Love Dog Fest is a fundraising event for Independence High School presented by Mars Petcare US. All donations and proceeds raised from the fest will go to pay for a new outdoor classroom.

Dogs can compete in a variety of fun contests. There is space for up to 20 dogs in each category. The entry fee is $10. All contestants receive a t-shirt and gift bag. Trophies and cash prizes will be awarded to winners in the following categories:

Most Obedient
Best Costume
Best Groomed
Dog/owner look alike
Best Kisser
Most Talented

The Dog Fest will also  feature an art contest for Elementary and High School students. A photography contest for students in grades 6-12, and an essay contest for students in grades 5-8.
