Country star Dierks Bentley recently announced plans to expand his restaurant business to Music City.

According to the Nashville Business Journal, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row will open in early 2017, at 400 Broadway, behind the Ryman.

On Jan. 7, leaders of development company C.B. Ragland Co. announced the $7.5 million purchase of the 14,500-square-foot building at 400 Broadway along with the company’s plans to work with Riot Hospitality Group to operate the restaurant.

“Lower Broadway’s honky-tonks are the stomping grounds of countless artists past to present chasing this crazy dream of playing music,” Bentley said in a statement. “It is home of the bars where I cut my teeth night after night, usually running up a beer tab bigger than the tips I made covered.”

“It’s pretty full-circle to think that we’re getting the chance to open one of my bars, backing right up to the Ryman Auditorium, where other artists will look back on as the place they got their start too.”

Bentley’s Whiskey Row will occupy a building that is 106 years old with 14,500 square feet. Previous tenants of the building included: Taytana’s Boutique and Gruhn Guitars.

Bentley has also opened two other Whiskey Row restaurants in Tempe and Scottsdale. Nashville location will feature 50 signature cocktails and beers on tap, along with three different stages for live music and a scenic rooftop deck area.
