Two Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were recently honored for their quick actions that saved a man’s life.

Deputy Will Harris and Deputy Erol (Turk) Agaoglu were working patrol on a holiday weekend night when they were first on the scene of a hit and run accident that left a man severely injured. The man’s vehicle had broken down. He was standing near a tow truck that was loading his vehicle when a driver hit him and didn’t stop. He was suffering a major loss of blood when the deputies arrived on the scene. The deputies quickly applied a tourniquet to control the bleeding and saved the man’s life. He has since recovered.

Deputies Harris and Agaoglu were named Deputies of the Month for November and December 2018 and recently honored with an award from Toyota of Cool Springs. Both Deputies are assigned to the Traffic Unit in the Patrol Division. Toyota of Cool Springs will make a donation to GraceWorks Ministries and The Foundation for Fallen Officers of Tennessee in their honor.

Toyota of Cool Springs General Sales Manager Kris Krabill presented plaques to the Deputies and Toyota of Cool Springs will donate a check for $150.00 to each charity.

Each month Toyota of Cool Springs will honor a WCSO Deputy and a charity.
