The Spring Hill Police last Saturday asked the public for help finding two runaway teens, ages 16 and 17.
They are still missing, according to Lt. Justin Whitwell, with the SHPD. He said that juvenile petitions, the underage equivalent of an arrest warrant, had been issued for them.
“They were running to get out of state’s custody at the Children’s Home,” he said.
Police described both teens as wearing khaki pants, white T-shirts, and possibly gray sweatshirts.
One is a 17-year-old Hispanic male, 5’5″, 200 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The other is a 16-year-old white male, 5’5″, 128 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
They were last seen near the Shell gas station on Main Street near Sonic on Jan. 14.
If you see either of these teens, please call Spring Hill Dispatch at 931-486-3269.
