Urgent Call Center to Create 250 Spring Hill Jobs

The governor’s office and Call 2 Answer, a start-up urgent call company, jointly announced Friday the company’s plans to open a Spring Hill center.

The $800,000 center, to open at Saturn’s old headquarters at 5000 Northfield Lane, will create 250 jobs, according to a press release from Gov. Bill Haslam, state Economic and Community Development Commissioner Randy Boyd and Call 2 Answer.

A 24/7 medical and urgent contact provider that also serves industries like HVAC, refrigeration, legal and real estate, Call 2 Answer said anyone interested in employment opportunities should go to call2answer.com or email [email protected].

“Tennessee offers companies tremendous advantages,” Haslam said in a release posted on tn.gov. “Among the biggest benefits for any business tied to the health care sector is being close to Nashville’s prominent and leading role in the industry. I’d like to thank Call 2 Answer for committing to create 250 new jobs in Spring Hill and bringing us closer to our goal of making Tennessee the No. 1 location in the Southeast for high quality jobs.”

Boyd, also, touted the announcement as a continuation of the region’s growing health care industry.

“The creation of 250 new jobs by Call 2 Answer is further proof of the power of Middle Tennessee’s $40 billion health care industry,” Boyd said. “Nashville’s existing hub of health care innovation – from its university network to emerging healthcare technology companies to traditional hospital operators – is a unique and dynamic asset that drives this type of business growth throughout Middle Tennessee. Thank you, Call 2 Answer, for choosing Spring Hill for this new urgent contact center.”

The recently started company plans to start in Middle Tennessee, but grow quickly.

“We have assembled one of the most experienced and high quality management teams in the industry,” Call 2 Answer CEO David Bednowitz said. “Call 2 Answer is poised to become the national leader of client communication support services with the emphasis on client satisfaction. We are very fortunate to have found a location that is close to the hub of health care activity and gives us access to a growing labor market. We are extremely excited to offer our new team members quality jobs with quality benefits in Maury County.”

Local Maury County officials and the Tennessee Valley Authority welcomed Call 2 Answer’s decision to locate in Spring Hill.

“I am very pleased to welcome Call 2 Answer to our community,” Maury County Mayor Charlie Norman said. “We appreciate the new jobs they are creating and their selection of Maury County as a place to do business. Our citizens continue to see new opportunities for both career and personal advancement. It is an exciting time as Maury County continues to move forward. We greatly appreciate Call 2 Answer for being an important part of that progress.”

“We are elated to welcome Call 2 Answer to Maury County,” Wil Evans, president of the Maury County Chamber and Economic Alliance, said. “The diverse jobs created by such a great company will further enhance the positive economic momentum our community is experiencing. Thank you to our local and regional economic development partners for your work on this project.”
