The General Federation of Women’s Clubs International’s Brentwood Location is sponsoring a writing competition. Is Poetry your passion? If so then enter the Poetry and Short Story contest before the deadline of October 15th.
The contest is divided into 4 categories from grades K-12 and cash prizes will be awarded. K, 1 & 2 are category 1, then grades 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 round out the divisions. Both the poetry and short story category will have 3 prizes respectively. Third place receives $25, second get $50 and first takes away bragging rights and $100.
Winners can also get entered into the district, state and international contests. Get your thoughts together and start writing now. Entries may be submitted via email to [email protected] and are preferred in Microsoft Word format.
