Parks & Rec Offers New Junior Lifeguard Program

Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) is pleased to announce a new Junior Lifeguard Program for ages 11 to 14. This program will teach water safety, first aid, CPR and AED techniques, build self-confidence and help prepare interested youths for work as lifeguards. Participants will learn about pool safety in a fun and challenging atmosphere.

The program will be held at the Indoor Sports Complex in Brentwood, 920 Heritage Way.
A pre-test will be given Saturday, March 16 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Students must pass the pre-test to be eligible for the course. The pre-test is free of charge. Course dates are March 26 – May 4 (skip April 16 – 20) on Tuesdays and Fridays from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The course cost is $45.00.
