Nolensville’s Buttercup Festival Rescheduled

Due to the potential for severe weather Saturday, the Nolensville Historic District Buttercup Festival, which was to take place on Saturday, April 14th, has been rescheduled for April 21 from 10 a – 5 p.

The decision was made by the committee out of concern for the safety of visitors and vendors said Heather Bell, committee member and owner of Nolensville Toy Shop.

On the event Facebook page it stated:

“We hate to have to do it but in the interest of safety, due to the forecast for severe weather, we have decided this is best. We truly apologize for conflicts or inconveniences this may cause. It was an EXTREMELY HARD DECISION for the committee & the best date available for the merchants working so hard to put on this festival is Saturday, April 21st. Please share this post so we can get the word out. We hope you all will be able to come out & join use next Saturday!”

This year will mark the 19th year for the festival where attendees can enjoy live music, vendors, food, and the crowning of “Little Miss Buttercup” and more.  For more information, visit the event Facebook page.
