Lego builders of all ages converged on the Music City Center this weekend for Lego Kidsfest, and Lego fans were not disappointed.
A traveling exhibit of large-scale Lego creations ranging from Marvel superheroes to Star Wars and even Disney Princesses inspired the imaginations of onlookers, and a host of interactive displays let young and old alike show off some Lego-building skills. The event included a Lego Master Builder Lab, where two of just eight Lego Master Builders worldwide made an appearance to talk about how they build full-scale creations for Lego Stores, Legoland Theme Parks, and other worldwide exhibits.
The sold-out even consisted of four sessions (one Friday, two Saturday, and another Sunday), each hosting a little more than 7,000 fans. Estimates place the total attendance over the weekend at nearly 30,000 kids and adults.
