GRAY’S on Main Offers Spirits Classes

Fox Hollow Cocktail at GRAY'S on Main

GRAY’S on Main has announced a series of educational spirits classes, open to the public.

The “Vintage Spirits Series” was originally only available to GRAY’S on Main SOCIETY members. The courses were so successful that the restaurant decided to create a new series open to the public.

The classes will be held on March 6th and 13th from 6p-8p, in GRAY’S private SOCIETY lounge on the third floor. Additional classes will be announced on their Facebook Page and website.

What you’ll learn in these classes:

On March 6th, learn about and taste Marquis de Montesquiou Armagnac–brand that’s featured in only one other spot in the country. Learn about the distilling process and the brand’s history. Taste the brand in context with GRAY’S popular Fox Hollow cocktail and other homemade recipes. GRAY’S Beverage Director Jon Yeager and Ryan Kohl of ImpEx Beverages, Inc will host this event.

On March 13th, learn about various French and Italian wines through sampling and hearing about their history from an Athens distributor and expert.

“This series was designed as a more expansive set of events, to truly educate guests on the art and passion behind a craft bar,” said Yeager.

“Our team is excited for GRAY’S to be a number-one learning source on the depths of the world of spirits.”

To reserve a spot for either class, call GRAY’S at 615-435-3603. Cost per class is $35.
