Bunch Back in Style For Indy

Andrew Bunch led the Indy offence, throwing for 259 yards and 3 touchdowns- all to Nate Johnson, while the Eagles added another 200 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground.

Shelbyville could not keep up with the Indy offense, scoring 2 touchdowns on 275 total offensive yards.

Bunch, playing in his first game since an elbow injury shelved him in week 2, wasted no time dusting himself off, throwing 18-and-10-yard touchdown passes to Johnson in the first quarter to put the Eagles up by 14 early.

Johnson, an All-State receiver last year, caught 6 passes for 72 yard and 3 touchdowns.

Mason Cunningham scored for Shelbyville on a 7-yard run to cut the lead to 14-7 after one quarter.

A trick play of sorts got Indy in next, as Johnson hit Landon Guidry for a 4-yard touchdown.

Grayson  Pantall added a 29-yard field goal.

At halftime, the Eagles led the Golden Eagles 32-8.

Daniel Wright, who led Indy with 115 yards on 12 carries, scored his touchdown putting the only points from either team on the board in the third quarter. Going into the final quarter, Indy led 39-8.

The teams traded touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but the game was far out of reach for the Golden Eagles.

Next week Indy plays another district opponent at Columbia Central (3-2, 1-2).
