Don’t Miss Easter at The Village

The Village

Join The Village for an all-age worship celebration for Easter at The Village at 9am and 11am at Sunset Middle School. There will be childcare available for children through 3 years old. There will even be donuts and coffee before each service.

Visiting The Village for the first time?  Here is what you need to know.

When does The Village meet?

Worship gatherings are on Sunday mornings at 10am. Village Kids, the children’s ministry for kids 6 weeks through 5th grade also meets during this time.

Where is The Village located? Is there a church building?

The Village currently meets at Sunset Middle School, 200 Sunset Trail, Brentwood, TN 37027.

Who can be part of The Village?

The Village welcomes all people as they are. Period. One of the things we say around here is “no one belongs here more than you.” This is not just a church for people who feel like they are “church people.” This is a church for people who have been part of a church their entire lives, people who’ve never stepped foot inside a church building. People who know a lot about God, people who have a lot of questions about God. People who have stepped away from church, people who are hoping for something new in a church, people who are thinking about coming back to church.

What should I wear?

The Village is a “come as you are” church. There will be people in jeans and there will be people in suits.

Where do I go when I get there?

The parking lot is directly in front of the main entrance. There will be signs and greeters stationed to help you find the main doors. When you enter the school, there will be a welcome table with people stationed there to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to grab a cup of coffee. Worship service takes place in the gym, which is right inside the main entrance.

What about my kids?

The Village Kids is for children ages 6 weeks through 5th grade, meets during the worship service. (Kids are also always welcome to come into our worship service with their parents.) The children’s area is just to the left of the main entrance. When you enter, come to the children’s check-in table and they will check you in with a sticker system so that only you may pick up your child at the end of worship. All of The Village’s children’s workers are trained and have undergone a thorough background check process because the safety of your children is a high priority for us!

What is a Sunday service like?

Our worship services include a mix of music, including everything from modern worship music to hymns, led by our worship band, some time for prayer, readings from Scripture, and an engaging message. Our worship services last about an hour.
