Chopt, the fast-casual restaurant that reimagined what a salad can be, is excited to announce the opening of its Brentwood location at the Hill Center on February 8, 2018.The store is located at 211 Franklin Road, Suite 160. Chopt’s hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.

In celebration of its opening, Chopt will partner with Nashville Food Project, a local nonprofit organization whose work brings people together to grow, cook and share nourishing food, with the goals of cultivating community and alleviating hunger in the music city.

As is custom with each new restaurant opening, Chopt will celebrate Chopt Gives Day from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again for dinner from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on February 7. All customers who make a monetary donation to its charitable partner Nashville Food Project will receive a free salad. Regular business hours will begin on February 8.

Chopt combines seasonal ingredients and authentic flavors from around the world to invent unbelievably cravable salads. At Chopt, you’ll find 18 scratch-made dressings and freshly-brewed iced teas and lemonades, all made fresh daily. They also build partnerships with regional artisans and purveyors inside each of their communities, like Booch Kombucha and Switters Coffee, to add a unique and local freshness to each menu.

The Chopt team goes to crazy lengths to find delicious flavors. In addition to its classic and build-your-own salad options, Chopt travels to a new destination every 60 days, creating limited-time only salads inspired by locations near and far. The Brentwood location will open with Destination Vietnam, a feature of the greatest tastes of the region via a Saigon Chicken Bánh Mì Salad, Vietnamese Meatball Noodle Bowl and Shrimp Summer Roll Salad.

“We are thrilled to have a restaurant like Chopt here in Nashville, one that values health and supporting its local community just as we do,” says Teri Forsythe Sloan, Development Director of Nashville Food Project. “Funds from Chopt Gives will support our gardens and meals programs, which nourish thousands of Nashville’s residents and empower our most vulnerable neighbors to take control of their own food resources while fostering community and breaking cycles of poverty.”

“Nashville is known for its eclectic and creative spirit and we think Chopt will be a strong addition to the food community here,” says Colin McCabe, Chopt Co-founder. “We are excited to open our first Tennessee location and hope our Brentwood neighbors will enjoy the flavorful, fast and healthy options we bring to the table.”

The new location features over 55 seats, including communal dining areas, comfortable booth seating, a large outdoor patio area, and playful wallpaper created in partnership with Batabasta, a Spanish design duo.

“In addition to offering another healthful dining option for the community – and our retail and office tenants – we are pleased they selected The Nashville Food Project as the beneficiary for Chopt Gives Day,” says Jimmy Granbery, chairman and CEO, H.G. Hill Realty Company. “We’re a long-time fan and supporter of the nonprofit and are continually impressed by their ability to reclaim and grow fresh food and turn it into nutritious meals for those in need.”
