Local Brentwood mom, Lee Cazayoux, is taking celebrations up a notch with creative and festive signs. If you have driven in and around Williamson County, you may have seen some of her signage in yards as well as in front of businesses and schools. We sat down with Lee to learn more about Celebration Signs–why she started this business, her most memorable signage to date and the best part – how you can order one for your next milestone.  Celebration signs

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your family?

My family and I moved to the Cool Springs area almost 11 years ago from Dallas. My husband and I have two daughters, ages 12 and 10. My professional background is in Corporate Healthcare, although I have stayed at home since my oldest was born. Celebration Signs LLC is a huge departure from corporate healthcare, but I was drawn to the idea of starting a family company so that my children could have first-hand exposure to launching and running a small business. Given that Williamson County is such a child-friendly place with strong family values, exceptional schools, and continued growth, I believed that this was an ideal location for this fun business. As noted on the Celebration Signs website, “we believe that life should not only be lived…it should be celebrated!”

How does Celebration Signs work?

Celebration Signs offers a turnkey 24-hour sign rental display for special occasions. We maintain a large inventory of high-quality, all weather signs which allows us to offer customized messages with very little lead time. We have even accommodated many same-day requests! We work with customers to create a fun message, then we take care of delivering, installing, and picking-up the signs the following day.

When did you decide to open Celebration Signs?

I began to explore the concept of opening Celebration Signs last spring (2015). I have a family friend who started a similar business in the Houston area a few years ago, and I thought the concept and business model were ideal for Williamson County. After a great deal of preparation over the summer, I planned my initial opening to coincide with the start of the school year. My daughter attends Kenrose, and one of my first signs was to Celebrate Back To School night at Kenrose Elementary in August.

What have been your most memorable signs so far?

We have done so many fun signs over the last few months, and I have personally enjoyed the happiness that they bring to people. Our most popular requests are for birthdays, but we have also done anniversaries, school greetings, and sports teams congratulations. Some of our most memorable signs have been: welcoming new head football Coach Wessman to Ravenwood this spring; a Happy Birthday greeting for Coach Kit (co-owner of Let it Shine) from the LIS staff; and, a Welcome Home greeting for a little boy who had just finished cancer treatments.

Thanks so much to Lee for taking time out to talk to us. For more information about Celebration Signs, visit their website to see all of their signage and customizing options.
