Rochford Realty and Construction Co., Inc. is hosting a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Stephens Valley on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 10:30 am at the Stephens Valley Welcome Center, located at 411 Sneed Road, Nashville, TN 37221.
Stephens Valley is a new development in southwestern Davidson County and northern Williamson County that will generate over a billion dollars in new construction over the life of the project, containing 1,200 homes with a targeted production rate of 50 new homes per year. It encompasses approximately 980 acres bounded on three sides by the Natchez Trace National Park, but 550 of those acres will remain untouched. The project is designed to build in the areas that have been farmed over the years, and allow as much of the existing tree canopy to remain undisturbed. Stephens Valley is designed based on Traditional Neighborhood Design principles, which strive to create a stronger community through front-porch living and pedestrian-friendly designs. Future residents will enjoy over 8 miles of trails, swimming pools, a Community House, tennis courts, pocket parks, a community garden, and much more.
Bill Stephens, who farmed the land until his death in 2015, had a vision to transform his land into a vibrant community where people could live more easily in harmony with nature while using a significant portion of the proceeds from this development for charitable and missions work. Neika Stephens, Bill’s wife and an active Board Member of Lipscomb University, still resides on the property and will cut the ribbon to open the Welcome Center to the public.
Construction will start in Williamson County with single-family residential homes priced between the upper $400s to just over $1 million, with homes by Celebration Homes, DeFatta Custom Homes, Legend Homes, Rochford Realty and Construction Co., and Sipple Homes. After the first phase, a Town Center will be built on the Davidson County portion of the property, featuring retail, restaurants, office, and multifamily residential with a town square and central park. Rochford Realty and Construction Co., Inc. is the developer of the project and Land Innovations is the project manager.
The Stephens Valley Welcome Center is a showcase for the project designed to share the Stephens Valley story with a relief model of the property and Virtual Reality 360-degree views of the Town Square.
