It’s that time of year when the news of the latest fashion and product lines to hit the stores starts flowing. I know, it is still sweltering heat out and the last thing you want to think about is a new wool jacket. However, all of you Downton Abbey fans hold on- an official Downton Abbey cosmetic line will launch in October, exclusively at Marks and Spencer.
Part of the 10-piece collection will include soap, nail polish, lip gloss, body lotion and scented candles. All of the packaging has an Edwardian feel, with quotes from characters of the show. A sampling of a quote featured is “ stop talking and kiss me before I get cross” by Mary in Season 3, Episode 2.
No word yet on when this product line will launch in the US but we can start the countdown for Season 4 which airs on January 5, 2014.
