Easter takes place on April 16, 2017. If you are looking for an Easter egg hunt for the family. We’ve put together a list of some Easter Egg hunts throughout the Middle Tennessee area. If you plan ahead, you might be able to hunt for Easter eggs twice in one day!
1.25th Annual Spring Art Hop

The 25th Annual Spring Art Hop will feature 25 egg hunts with 30,000 eggs, two performances by Mr. Steve, The Music Man, ‘art’ivities, live bunnies, eight food trucks, and more. Look out for special contests celebrating the 25th anniversary.
Nashville Zoo’s annual spring celebration is back with egg hunts and Easter treats for children of all ages. Activities during the day include 10 scheduled egg hunts for kids, a Zoo-wide hunt for golden eggs, spring-themed games, bounce houses and face painting. Special appearances by the Easter Bunny and Zoo mascot Twiga.
Activities take place from 9 am – 4 pm. Eggstravaganzoo (excluding Bunny Breakfast) is included with your Zoo admission or membership.
3.Easter Egg Hunt at The Hermitage

The Hermitage is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year, the hunt will take place on the beautiful lawn of Tulip Grove Mansion. Over 4,000 stuffed eggs will be hidden at each program – double last year’s size. At both the 10:00 and 1:00 start times, kids will be divided into two hunts for ages 1-6 and 7-12. Following the hunts, families can have a special photo with the Easter Bunny, decorate cookies, make springtime crafts, and play historic lawn games.
4. Williamson Co Parks & Rec Franklin Egg Hunt

Williamson County Parks and Recreation invites area residents to hop on over to the free annual community Easter Egg Hunts on Saturday, April 1, 2017, promptly at 10:00 a.m. at the Cheek Park Soccer Fields, located behind Franklin High School at 810 Hillsboro Rd. This is a new location for the annual egg hunt, which is being moved due to the construction of a splash pad at the Franklin Recreation Complex.
Children ages 10 and younger are invited to attend. Hundreds of eggs will be scattered and some eggs will contain special prizes. Don’t forget your basket or sack for gathering eggs. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos, so bring your cameras.
Parking for the event will be behind Franklin High School. Drivers may enter at Joel Cheek Blvd. or Claude Yates Dr. Be sure to arrive early, and allow time for parking and walking to the Cheek Park soccer fields.

5. Egg Dive

Register now for the second annual Easter Egg Dive, Sunday, April 9, 2017, at the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Dr. This underwater egg hunt takes place in the indoor pool. Reservations are now open at www.wcparksandrec.com (event code #8863). Be sure to choose the correct age group: 4:30 p.m., ages 0-5 and non-swimmers with parents; 5:00 p.m., ages 6-8; 5:30 p.m., ages 9-12. The dive-in is $5 per child, and the Easter Bunny will be there so bring your cameras. Sponsored by The Children’s Academy.
6. Easter Festival

It’s one of the most Egg-citing events of the year! Join the Easter Bunny, as he gets things hopping around the Farm. This annual family tradition features fun games, activities, crafts, baby farm animals and non-stop egg hunts with prize packs for the kids! New this year, journey through the story of Jelly Bean the Unbreakable Egg. It’s a fun way to celebrate the spring season.
7. Easter Egg Drop

Easter Egg Hunt will be hosted by Refuge Church. This is a FREE community-wide event. Egg DROP from the sky at Evans Park at 9:45 AM. Over 40,000 Eggs. All kids walking toddlers to 5th grade have to be at the field gate by 9:45 AM to participate. It’s gonna be raining eggs. Special appearance from the Easter bunny for photo ops and a few chances to win prizes.
