1.Local Farmers’ Chili Cook-off

Franklin Farmers Market

The farmers at the Franklin Farmers Market will spice things up at the Local Farmers’ Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, March 25 from 9am till 12noon. Eight meat producing farms will be participating in what has become a free popular event at the market. Customers will be treated to each of the farmers’ special recipe made from either chicken, beef, lamb and even bison! Tasting begins at 9am and customers are invited to cast their ballots in a race to find out which farmer has the best chili. Voting ends at 10:45am with the new Grand Champion announced in front of the market at 11:30am.

2. Pooch-a-Palooza

Nolensville Bark Park, 2310 Rocky Fork Rd

POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER- Rescheduled Date is June 10th

Local pooches and their humans are invited to join Williamson County Parks and Rec for a dog show and expo at the Nolensville Bark Park (Nolensville Park Road, near Nolensville Elementary School and Nolensville First United Methodist Church). It’s free to watch the event. There is a $10 participation fee for pooches who would like to strut their stuff in a performance of showmanship. There will be several competitions, Williamson County Animal Center will be on hand to show off some adoptable dogs, and other vendors will be on site as well.

March 25-26
The Barn at Rippavilla

Spring fever? Rippavilla has the remedy – the Spring Hill Lawn & Garden Show in The Barn at Rippavilla March 25 & 26.

The event starts Saturday morning March 25 and goes through Sunday afternoon, all full of activities for all ages. This is also the first public event at the barn at Rippavilla.

While on site, visitors can also tour the mansion and stop by the Spring Hill Bakery located in the gift shop.

Admission for the show only is $5 for anyone 13 or older, and $2 for kids.

To get into the show and get a mansion tour it is $10 for ages 13 and up, $7 for under 13 and free for ages 5 and under.

Also, the first 500 visitors will receive a free Virginia Christmas Pine seedling.

4. Easter Bunny arrives at CoolSprings Galleria

Put on your bunny ears and hop over to CoolSprings Galleria to welcome the Easter Bunny!

Enjoy music, balloon artists, face painters AND the first 100 kids will enjoy cookie decorating with Great American Cookies!

5. Zappos Pop Up Show
March 24-26
115 Lyle Avenue, Nashville

Zappos, the popular online store, is bringing a special shopping experience to Nashville this weekend. It all begins Friday, March 24th at 4 pm.

Calling it the “Friends with Benefits Road Show”, Zappos will not only bring shopping to Nashville but make it a celebration. They will be offering free pet adoptions, curated shopping, live music and a backyard chill zone. Plus, local Wynonna Judd will be on site Sunday at 1pm.

Stating on their Facebook page, “This journey is all about gratitude, giving back, having fun, and spreading happiness—and we invite you Nashville to come out and join the Zappos craziness!”

The sale starts on Friday from 4 pm – 9 pm,  Saturday 10 am – 9pm, and Sunday 10 am – 2 pm located at 115 Lyle Avenue, Nashville.
