David Kovalik, DeAngelis Diamond

David Kovalik, previously Executive Project Manager at DeAngelis Diamond was recently promoted to the role of Vice President of Project Management. Kovalik has 14 years of experience and will oversee all project management throughout DeAngelis Diamond’s four regional offices locations in Naples, FL, Sarasota, FL, Birmingham, AL and Nashville, TN. Kovalik attended Michigan State University and earned a Bachelors degree in Building Construction Management and started his career with DeAngelis Diamond as an intern in 2005

1.What drew you to the internship program in 2005? And what was your internship experience like?
The internship program was in its infancy in 2005, in fact I believe I was either the first intern or close to it. It was a great experience where I was immersed in field and office operations.

2. What is your favorite part of being a member of the DeAngelis Diamond team?
Working with all the different team members.

3. What has been your favorite project to work on thus far?
Various Arthrex projects.

4. What do you do outside of work (hobbies)?
I enjoy fishing, boating, and spending time with my family (wife Yelena and son Michael)

5. How would describe DeAngelis Diamond in just five words?
A Collaborative fun working environment.
