Does it hurt?
While waxing can’t be entirely pain-free, the techniques used by the Cerologists at Waxing the City, make it a more comfortable experience (and much less intimidating experience).
“Our Cerologists use a unique mapping system that focuses on the hair direction and density of your hair, to determine how many strips are needed. We also wax smaller portions of your skin at a time, and apply pressure after the wax is removed. All of this combined makes your experience less painful. Our expertly trained Cerologist are here to help make your experience as pain-free as possible!” says Michelle Cohen, Waxing the City Franklin Studio Manager.
If you’re concerned about the pain element, Michelle says you can do a few things before your appointment to help ease any pain 1) Take an ibuprofen 30-45 minutes before 2) Avoid caffeine 3) Come in after your menstrual cycle when you’re less sensitive 4) Consider using numbing products as well that we sell.
