1. Blues, Brews & Barbecue

 
WHAT: Mockingbird Restaurant in Spring Hill is hosting an event this weekend called “Blues Brews & Barbecue.” In addition to barbecue, you can enjoy a beer by Goodwood brewed with limestone water and musical entertainment by Bent Reed. Call to reserve your seat at 931-487-9787

2. Arbor Day Celebration Bowie Park


WHAT:
 Bowie Park will Celebrate Arbor Day this weekend. This free event will include a tour of trees at Bowie Park, tree giveaway, planting your own acorn activity and refreshments.

WHEN: Saturday, April 28, 10 a –  noon

WHERE: Bowie Nature Park,7211 Bowie Lake Road, Fairview

3. Main Street Festival  

 
WHAT: The spring festival will bring thousands to downtown Franklin where you can experience live music will take place in two areas: The Guitar Center Stage on the Public Square and the Music Corner inside the Beer Tent on 4th Avenue South.  Not only will there be music, there will be juried arts and crafts show featuring more than 150 artisans and crafters with handmade wares. After all the music and shopping, try one of the many food trucks available.

4. Family Day at Deer Run

 

WHAT: Experience a fun and exciting day of camp activities with your family! Build deeper relationships by spending focused time together. You will find yourself laughing, cheering each other on and creating memories that last a life-time.

Activities are for all ages and all family members — from the littlest ones to the teens, mom and dad … and even grandparents. It’s also a great way to experience what summer camps and family camps are like at Deer Run!

Cost is $10 per person with children 4 and under free.

Space is limited for some activities. Advance registration is highly recommended.

5. Saddle Up! 2018 Super Show  

WHAT: The super show is Saddle Up!’s annual horse show where participants will showcase their talents and abilities. 100 riders from Saddle Up!’s Therapeutic Riding program, as well as riders from other therapeutic riding programs in the area, will compete in a series of riding classes that highlight their skills.

Join Saddle Up! on the farm to celebrate the accomplishments of our exceptional riders and honor the 2018 program graduates. While you’re there, test your horse knowledge with activities and shop the Tack-y Shop for great equine-inspired deals.
