Sweat Franklin, which opened just over two years ago, is now Shed Fitness. Co-owner, Mandy Oakes sold her half of the business to her co-owner Don Joles.
Sweat Franklin is now part of Shed Fitness, which has a fitness studios in Belle Meade and Franklin.
Each Shed Fitness class focuses on a different muscle group. Participants are led through 3-5 stations of moderate to high intensity exercises. Each station will last approximately 5-8 minutes.
In addition to the Shed Fitness class, they also offer SHEDDER,a class with emphasis on raising your heart rate. There is not a set time for this workout, it’s more about how long it takes you to complete the workout.
Another option at Shed is the Sunday Circuit. It’s a full-body workout consisting of 1 minute long sessions. You will be led through an intense workout consisting of 26-30 stations with the total workout time of approximately 40 minutes.
Before heading out to a Shed Fitness class, it is recommended that you bring a water bottle and a towel or you can purchase both onsite.
If you are looking to get a workout in on Memorial Day, Shed Fitness Franklin will offer a 7:15am class. Sign up for classes online. During the week, classes are offered Monday – Friday beginning at 5am and on Saturday at 7:15am. Shed Fitness is located at 1441 New Highway 96,Franklin.
