Kristofer Michael Reiersen

Kristofer Michael Reiersen, age 35 of Nolensville, TN was called home to everlasting peace on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 11:02 PM as a result of an aortic dissection. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Kristofer was born on February 16, 1983 in Westminster, Maryland.

He is survived by his parents, Michael & Susan Reiersen; brother, Erik Reiersen; sister, Lauren (Daniel) Foshee; uncle, Joseph Golden; aunt, Joanne Golden; cousins, Greg Golden & Katie (Zack) Watkins; second cousins, Peyton & Riley Watkins; and extended Wujek, Reiersen, Golden, and Jacob families.

Kristofer was a graduate of Father Ryan High School (class of 2001) and a former seminarian at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. He later found his calling as a licensed massage therapist working at Life Time, Inc.

Kristofer was known by his friends to be a warm-hearted, generous man. He had a profound love for his family. He had a philosophical soul and loved having deep conversations about the meaning of life and our place in it. He was passionate about music, soccer, and his new found career. He has touched the hearts and lives of many people over the course of his brief 35 years.

As part of Kristofer’s priestly discernment, he devoted a year of service to the Nashville Rescue Mission. Therefore, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nashville Rescue Mission, 639 Lafayette St, Nashville, TN 37203, ( www.nashvillerescuemission.org ) in loving memory of Kristofer Michael Reiersen.

A gathering will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Saturday, November 24th from 11 AM-1 PM followed by a prayer service at 1 PM in the church.

A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date.
