San Francisco 49ers quarterback C.J. Beathard is returning to his high school alma mater, Battle Ground Academy, to host a football clinic for kids ages 5-14 on Saturday, July 20 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event is free and open to the community. Space is limited so registration at www.bgacamps.com is required.

“C.J.’s strong character and excellent work ethic embody the ideals of Battle Ground Academy and the BGA football program,” said BGA Head Football Coach Jonas Rodriguez. “It is an honor to partner with him for the 2019 C.J. Beathard Football Camp where we hope to inspire and nurture a love for the game of football while teaching camp participants fundamentals and techniques which will propel them to future success during their upcoming football season.”

Beathard graduated from BGA in 2012 and then had a stellar college career at the University of Iowa. He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2017 NFL Draft and has had extensive playing time in his two years on the team.

The camp will focus on all skills…not just the quarterback position. Beathard will be joined by other special guests who will assist in the camp.

Established in 1889, Battle Ground Academy is a co-educational, college preparatory school for grades kindergarten through 12th grade. More information on the school can be found at www.battlegroundacademy.org.
