Finding a restaurant that is gluten free friendly can be a challenge. We put together a list of restaurants in the area that offer gluten-free menu items.
Even though the restaurants we have listed have gluten-free items on their menu, we can not guarantee that these items are prepared in a separate kitchen or are prepared with separate utensils or cooking grills from dishes that contain gluten. If you suffer from celiac, please contact the restaurants listed to ensure that all precautions have been taken.
For those who simply have a gluten sensitivity, these are some great local options.

On Frothy Monkey’s website, they list menu items that are gluten-free, including hummus, salsa, and chicken. They also have gluten free pastries available but note that those items are made in a shared kitchen.
Homestead Manor

The farm-to-table restaurant located in Thompson’s Station features fresh produce and several gluten free items. Try the ham and cheese plate or baked ricotta (with no bread) appetizers. Several of their Farm Greens are gluten free like the harvest kale, spring chopped salad, butternut squash and quinoa salad. Gluten free main entrees include filet, ribeye, bourbon molasses chicken (without the mac & cheese), southern style scallops (without grits), bbq ale pork (without bread) and cauliflower risotto and enjoy their gluten free veggie sides like wood-grilled harvest vegetables and braised harvest greens.
However, Homestead Manor can accommodate requests to eliminate seasoning that contains gluten in other menu items.

Peter’s Sushi

If you are gluten intolerant, the Pad Thai at Peter’s Sushi is a great option. Other items on the menu, including soups and sushi rolls, are also gluten free. Some sushi rolls may contain a sauce that has gluten in it, so it’s best to ask before ordering or order a plain sushi roll. More on Peter’s Sushi here.

On the menu at Puckett’s Boathouse, you will find items on the menu denoted with a GF. On the GF menu, you’ll find delicious options like peel and eat shrimp skillet, blackened catfish and grits, sanibel salmon, BBQ shrimp and grits, gulf shrimp, marinated ribeye with herb butter.
