Your girl can color her world with a fun painting session at American Girl—but first, it’s tea time in the Bistro! The store will serve fruit, muffins, bite-sized sandwiches, treats, and pink lemonade. Afterward, enjoy a little shopping time, and then work on Easter-themed paintings that girls can take home. In the spirit of spring and the Easter season, Homestead Manor will host a community egg hunt on Saturday, March 24 from 10 a.m until noon, offering photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, refreshments and family-friendly fun.

The free event is open to children ages two to 13, and the hunt will take place in designated areas on the property according to age, beginning at 10 a.m. Two to five, six to nine and 10 to 13 year-olds will be grouped together, respectively, and children under the age of two may join the youngest group.

Each participant will receive a list of the different colors of eggs he or she should find to complete the hunt. The child from each group who finds one of each color egg first will be the winner and will receive an Easter basket filled with goodies.

Nashville Zoo’s annual spring celebration is back with egg hunts and Easter treats for children of all ages. Activities during the day include 10 scheduled egg hunts for kids, a Zoo-wide hunt for golden eggs, spring-themed games, bounce houses and face painting. Special appearances by the Easter Bunny and Zoo mascot Twiga!

Eggstravaganzoo is included with Zoo admission, and no reservations are needed. There will be a $7 parking fee per vehicle. Members park free.
